Denture Provision

Dentures are a removable method used to replace missing teeth. This can be for one, multiple or all teeth and helps to keep remaining natural teeth in line, restore your smile and make it easier to eat and speak. We work very closely with our dental lab technicians to produce several types of dentures – from acrylic to metal cobalt chrome to thermoplastic Valplast® dentures.

Whether you are requiring full or partial dentures or need to plan around dental extractions, we can help. If you require denture repairs, relines or cleans we’ll assist you to get the treatment you need.

Referral Portals for Orthodontics

Whether you have adult teeth or young teeth, they can sometimes grow in crowded, with gaps or in crooked positions. But don’t worry, there are lots of different treatment options for correcting your smile! We work closely with two of the best orthodontists in Perth to coordinate treatment plans that suit your needs.

Together, we can explore tooth straightening methods like braces or clear teeth aligners to fit your requirements and budget. Whether dental extractions are necessary or you need regular cleaning maintenance during brace wearing, Meadow Springs Dental Clinic will help keep your teeth in line!

Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening can help give you more confidence in your smile. Over time, discolouration from tobacco, coffee and tea, wine or certain foods can stain our teeth, even with regular brushing and flossing. We use the best quality FDA and ADA approved whitening techniques to reduce teeth stains and restore your pearly whites.

If you’re interested in brightening your smile, our dentists are happy to guide you through the options to find the best treatment for you and your teeth. We’ll always discuss the method and budget you are comfortable with to ensure it aligns with your expectations before we get started.

TMJ and Bruxism Problems

One of the most common dental problems amongst the general population is tooth grinding and clenching. Often people grind or clench during sleep, so may not know the damage that is being caused to tooth enamel. Many problems result from this, including jaw pain, tooth pain and sensitivity, tooth wear and headaches – so if you are having these symptoms it might be worth a dental check-up!

Work with us for a TMJ pain or bruxism strategy that will protect your teeth long term. With these issues, prevention is key to keeping your jaw and teeth healthy. We can investigate options like dental crowns and occlusal splints to provide a barrier for your teeth. No matter what, we always keep you informed of your options and deliver our services in the most comfortable way for you.

Oral Surgery and Extractions

When problems occur and your tooth is beyond saving or if your wisdom teeth must be removed, our experienced dentists will talk you through the procedure and make your tooth removal as comfortable and pain-free as possible. We can treat fractured teeth, infected teeth and carry out wisdom teeth removals.

With some complicated extractions, such as an impacted wisdom tooth or for a medically compromised patient, we can help get you the treatment you need – even if that requires a specialist referral. Our priority is ensuring your comfort and ease throughout the process, with explanations every step of the way for your peace of mind.

Restoration of Implants

Dental implants are becoming more and more popular for people missing teeth or those who would like to replace dentures. We see many patients who have completed their surgery with a specialist and now require an implant crown or bridge to be placed on their now stable implant. With the help of our dental laboratories, we can also restore older implants for you to keep them as healthy as can be.

We can help with your implant care whether you have a one-tooth implant or a full mouth of them. We’re happy to talk to you about your implant needs and schedule specialist appointments for you if required.

Pain Management & Emergency Treatment

Every day we hold time for emergency appointments to help current and new patients experiencing pain, sensitivity, swellings, loss of fillings and any other problems that require urgent attention.

We strive to see any patient in pain at short notice and depending on the problem, complete treatment on the day or work out a plan to relieve pain for the short term while making a plan to provide the relevant treatment in due course. If you are experiencing dental pain, don’t wait and hope for the best – book an appointment with an experienced dentist to get some relief.

Paediatric Dentistry

We aim to act early with our younger patients – that’s why we carry out preventative dental care to give your children’s dental health the best start. Parents and caregivers usually start bringing in their young ones from two to four years old for their first dental visit. This helps kids familiarise themselves with the dentist environment through desensitising practises – we find this reduces dental anxiety as they grow older.

Where treatment is needed, we are happy to see young patients with their parents to work out what treatment they need and how to get the best long term outcomes for them. Our clinic is a happy and relaxing environment for their first dental experiences. We also provide sports mouthguards for when they become more active to protect their smiles.

Geriatric Dentistry

We are always happy to provide specialised treatment and planning for our elderly patients. As we age it can become more complicated to carry out dental treatments, so we always tailor our treatments to your needs. We’re here to help with routine check-ups, dental implant care, denture care, oral hygiene assistance and any other dental treatment you need.

Our dentists are very understanding when it comes to knowing what you can and cannot manage – we’ll always work with you to make sure you get the best care for your situation. We are happy to convene with family members and make accommodations if there are medical issues that prevent certain treatments from being possible – our priority is your dental health.

Advanced Restorative Dentistry

Sometimes the smaller treatments such as fillings are not strong enough or aesthetic enough. Think of crowns and bridges as prosthetic devices that are permanent fixtures in your smile. Crowns are used to protect weak teeth, cover root canals or replace large fillings, whereas bridges connect two teeth on either side of a missing tooth to help keep them from shifting out of place and reduce the risk of gum disease.

There are many types of crowns and bridges – our dentists can guide you through your options to come up with the best treatment to suit your needs. We use excellent laboratories in Perth that are renowned for being the best in town. We are proud to work with them to create crowns and bridges that are the perfect fit for your smile.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment can be a good option to look into if you want to avoid tooth extraction when severe pain develops. Generally, root canal treatments are used to get rid of bacteria by removing an infected ‘pulp’ and filling and sealing the tooth.

If a root canal is the right dental procedure for you, we’ll guide you through the procedure every step of the way and make each step as comfortable as possible. Root canal treatment doesn’t have to be as scary as it sounds – let’s start by investigating the source of the pain you are having.
